The location is mandatory
There is no staff login in a bot, so the customer selects the location before sending — the one case where they supply the address.
Channel
In markets where a messenger is the default way to reach a business, the bot is the shortest route to a rating: two taps, no browser tab to find, no card to carry.
Both bot triggers open the same 7Feedback page as the terminal and the table QR. There is no bot-specific flow and no bot-specific screen.
Updated
It is the only channel where the conversation continues after the rating, and that changes what it is worth.
The request arrives in a thread the customer already has open. Response rates here are the highest of any channel we run.
A customer who writes from a messenger is reachable afterwards — with their agreement — which no anonymous QR scan gives you.
The menu button is not tied to any visit, so a complaint about last Tuesday still has somewhere to go.
In the thread
After an operation the bot asks once, while the impression is fresh and without anyone on the staff doing anything. The rating opens the identical 7Feedback page, with the same private and public options in the same order.
There is no staff login in a bot, so the customer selects the location before sending — the one case where they supply the address.
The two triggers are independent, and the master switch on the profile governs both of them.
A bot submission arrives in the same inbox as a terminal one, in the same format, with the same attribution.
7Feedback is a standalone customer feedback product. It collects a one-tap rating and an optional comment, photo or video where the visit ends — the payment terminal, the Self-Service Kiosk, a printed QR, the receipt or a chat-bot — and delivers every submission to the business with the location attached.
No. The terminal application installs next to your other Android apps and does not touch the payment flow, so it needs no payment-side certification. A printed QR or a fiscal receipt QR needs no integration at all. A deeper API integration exists for partners who want the question inside their own payment screens.
No. Scanning the code or tapping the terminal opens a web page. Rating takes one tap; a comment, a photo or a video is optional and never required, so the rating on its own is already a finished submission.
Not more often than once every few days, set per location. The frequency cap is blind to the rating: it exists to protect a regular from fatigue, not to protect the business from criticism.
Next step
Some businesses only want the menu button. Some want the request after every operation. Both are one setting each.
