Glossary

Fourteen words, used precisely

Feedback vocabulary is loose everywhere else, and two of these words decide whether a setup is allowed at all. This is what each of them means here.

Product terms stay in English inside every translation of this site, because they are names rather than descriptions.

Fourteen words this site relies on, in the order they usually come up.

7Feedback page
The single collection page behind every channel. A terminal, a table QR, a receipt, a kiosk and a chat-bot all open the same page with the same options, which is what makes ratings from different channels comparable.
Staff login
A workstation rather than a person: a till, a terminal, an API integration or a badge QR. Every submission carries the staff login it came through, and the location is taken from it. Billing counts staff logins.
Review gating
Showing the public review step only to customers who rated well. Platforms prohibit it, and the penalty lands on the merchant's own listing. 7Feedback cannot do it: no screen, button or route depends on the rating.
Frequency cap
The limit on how often the same person is invited — not more than once every few days, set per location. The cap is blind to the rating: it protects regulars from fatigue, not the business from criticism.
Terminal Mode
The 7Stamp Scanner application running in a dedicated mode on a standard Android payment terminal. It sits outside the payment flow, so it needs no payment-side certification and no change to the payment software.
Self-Service Kiosk
A mode of the same Scanner application on a tablet: either a station where the customer scans their own card, or a dedicated survey station that only asks about the visit. Not a third-party kiosk.
Receipt QR
The QR code printed on the receipt by the till. The POS calls the API, receives a link and encodes it. Where that code ends up — receipt, insert, screen — is a placement, not a separate capability.
Fiscal Receipt Scanning
The customer scans the tax authority's fiscal QR on their own receipt. The system verifies the receipt and identifies the business and location. Available in Ukraine, Slovakia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Delivery Inserts
The printed card placed in a delivery bag or parcel carrying the same link as every other channel. It needs no integration with the courier system and no change to the packing process.
Card-linked recognition
Recognising a returning customer from a payment token where the acquirer's stack exposes PAR or a stable token. The card number is never used and never hashed; the QR carries only an opaque session id.
Rating scale
Stars, Faces or Numbers. One scale per business, shown by every channel, so ratings stay comparable across locations. Faces is five faces; Numbers runs from one to ten for NPS-style reporting.
White-label
The feedback page and the system emails are served from the partner's own domain in every channel. The partner's customers never see our domain. It is a condition of most terminal-fleet deals rather than an upsell.
Attribution
The rule that no submission exists without a location. The location comes from the staff login; in a chat-bot, where there is no staff login, the customer selects the location before sending and cannot skip it.
Zero Level Integration
A working setup that touches no existing system: a printed QR, a terminal application installed beside the others, or a fiscal receipt scanned by the customer. No POS change, no certification, no new device.
