What is 7Feedback?
7Feedback is a standalone customer feedback product. It collects a one-tap rating and an optional comment, photo or video where the visit ends — the payment terminal, the Self-Service Kiosk, a printed QR, the receipt or a chat-bot — and delivers every submission to the business with the location attached.
Do we need to integrate with our POS?
No. The terminal application installs next to your other Android apps and does not touch the payment flow, so it needs no payment-side certification. A printed QR or a fiscal receipt QR needs no integration at all. A deeper API integration exists for partners who want the question inside their own payment screens.
Does the customer have to install anything?
No. Scanning the code or tapping the terminal opens a web page. Rating takes one tap; a comment, a photo or a video is optional and never required, so the rating on its own is already a finished submission.
Do we need a 7Stamp loyalty plan?
No. 7Feedback is sold on its own, with no stamp cards, no packages and no loyalty plan behind it. If you later add loyalty, the feedback you have already collected stays where it is and keeps arriving in the same queue.
What does a customer see after a poor rating?
Exactly what a customer sees after a good one. No screen, button or route depends on the rating. Both options — writing to the business and opening the public listing — appear in the same order for a one and for a five.
Which public platforms can we send people to?
Google Maps is the default target and TripAdvisor is available on request. Trustpilot only if the invitation is shown to every customer without exception, which is how 7Feedback works anyway. Yelp is never used, because it prohibits asking for reviews in any form.
Can we run it under our own brand and domain?
Yes. With White-label the feedback page and the system emails come from your domain in every channel — table QR, receipt, terminal, kiosk and bot alike. For a terminal fleet sold under an acquirer's brand this is a condition of the deal rather than an option.
Can we give a discount or a bonus for a review?
Not for a public one. Platforms prohibit it, and the moment someone opens a public listing is not an event a reward can be attached to — that link does not exist and will not be built. Rewarding a customer for feedback given to you privately is a different question: ask us and we will walk through what is possible in your country.
What happens to a customer's phone number?
It is only there if the customer chose to leave it and ticked the consent box. It covers that one piece of feedback — no newsletters, no other messages — and it is deleted after about 90 days.
How often is the same customer asked?
Not more often than once every few days, set per location. The frequency cap is blind to the rating: it exists to protect a regular from fatigue, not to protect the business from criticism.
What does 7Feedback cost?
$19 / €19 per staff login per month, or $190 / €190 per staff login for a year — pay for ten months, get twelve. In Ukraine it is UAH 899 monthly and UAH 8,990 annual. A staff login is a workstation, so three tills in one location is three logins.
What counts as a staff login?
A workstation: a till, a payment terminal, an API integration, or a badge QR belonging to one person. Ten tablets signed into the same staff login are one staff login. Five waiters who each need their own ratings are five.
We already use 7Stamp. Do we buy this twice?
No. For a 7Stamp business it is the Customer Feedback add-on inside the account you already have, at the add-on price, and it is cheaper than the standalone product. You keep one account, one set of locations and one notification queue.
Can different locations use different rating scales?
No, and deliberately. A business picks one scale — Stars, Faces or Numbers — and every channel and location shows it. Mixing scales would make the numbers incomparable between a till, a table and a bot, which is the one thing chain analytics cannot survive.
Where does a submission actually arrive?
By email to the account owner's address, through the account's active email sending method, with the rating, the comment and any attached media. One submission is one email, and running 7Stamp loyalty on the same account does not create a second inbox.
Can we compare table tents against terminals?
Not as a channel breakdown — analytics report the location and the staff login, not which entry point was used. If you need that split, give the table tents their own staff login: the channel then shows up as a login, through the same mechanism that gives you per-person ratings.
Where does Fiscal Receipt Scanning work?
Ukraine, Slovakia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan — the four markets whose tax authorities put a verifiable QR on the receipt. The customer scans that code and the system identifies the business, the location and the purchase behind it.
Is card-linked recognition actually live?
It is built and running with a payment partner, on stacks that expose PAR or a stable token at the moment of the transaction. It is not a claim that it works on every stack: without access to PAR the fallback is a token stable within one acquirer. The card number is never used and never hashed.
How many applications go onto the terminal fleet?
One. Feedback collection is a mode inside the existing 7Stamp Scanner APK, so an acquirer certifies, versions and supports a single application across the fleet. A second application is not published and is not offered.
Can franchisees be billed separately?
Today a network's locations are paid for through the partner's access codes, and separate franchisee billing is an early invitation for selected partners rather than a released feature. What is available now is one branded domain, one set of system emails and analytics that roll up across locations run by different legal entities.
Will our public rating go up?
It often does, and we will not promise it. The effect is real and legal: an unhappy customer who is given a working private channel more often tells the business first. That is a consequence of convenience, not of filtering — and anyone promising you a rating increase is describing something the platforms prohibit.
Can customers attach photos or video?
Yes, on the private channel. Text, a photo or a video goes straight to the manager, which is what makes a complaint about a dish, a pump or a waiting room actionable. Attachments are never mandatory and nothing blocks a customer who only taps a rating.
Terms
Words used precisely
The vocabulary these answers rely on, including the two that decide whether a setup is compliant.
- Review gating
- Showing the public review step only to customers who rated well. Platforms prohibit it, and the penalty lands on the merchant's own listing. 7Feedback cannot do it: no screen, button or route depends on the rating.
- Staff login
- A workstation rather than a person: a till, a terminal, an API integration or a badge QR. Every submission carries the staff login it came through, and the location is taken from it. Billing counts staff logins.
- 7Feedback page
- The single collection page behind every channel. A terminal, a table QR, a receipt, a kiosk and a chat-bot all open the same page with the same options, which is what makes ratings from different channels comparable.
- Frequency cap
- The limit on how often the same person is invited — not more than once every few days, set per location. The cap is blind to the rating: it protects regulars from fatigue, not the business from criticism.
- Terminal Mode
- The 7Stamp Scanner application running in a dedicated mode on a standard Android payment terminal. It sits outside the payment flow, so it needs no payment-side certification and no change to the payment software.
- Fiscal Receipt Scanning
- The customer scans the tax authority's fiscal QR on their own receipt. The system verifies the receipt and identifies the business and location. Available in Ukraine, Slovakia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
